Responsible Associated Landowners of New York State (REALNYS) is a proud member of New Yorkers Against Fracking.
At REALNYS, we have started a website for property owners who refuse to allow their land to be used as an industrial zone for toxic chemicals, a website for landowners against fracking. www.realnys.com
Who are we?
We are New Yorkers of many different backgrounds from hundreds of towns, in dozens of counties across the state. We own ¼ acres, we own 100 acres. We are farmers who need clean water for our crops and animals.
We are merchants who want our streets free from the fumes and thunder that will come with hundreds of diesel trucks marching past our doors.
We are parents, educators, realtors, designers, veterinarians, gardeners, health care workers, vintners, plumbers, retirees, truck drivers, clerks, teachers, and postal workers who believe we have the right to protect our land and water.
Who are we? We are you.
We love our neighborhoods, our towns, and our State. We respect the water in our springs, streams, rivers and lakes, and the odors of the clean earth and of the clean air. This is our home and we know if it’s fracked, there’s no turning back. Once our water is polluted – it is polluted; we can’t drink it, we can’t use it. Once the water and air are polluted so is the land.
At REALNYS.com we come together to stand up for our rights. With your help we can prove that the majority of NYS landowners do not want gas drilling.
Join us by adding your land to the growing group of members. Together we can show politicians and the gas industry that we stand united to keep our lands frack-free. www.realnys.com
REALNYS.com was created by members of AndesWorks! www.andesworks.com Although we live in a watershed area protected from fracking, we fight to help our neighbors protect their land and water, and to protect our state – New York State.
