Celebrated Chefs Come Together for Taste of the Marcellus: A Delicious Way to Fight Fracking, Thursday, July 26

A group of NYC’s most celebrated chefs will be preparing special dishes for a fundraiser to protect New York State’s water, air, and soil from the dangers of hydraulic fracturing for shale gas (fracking).

Who: Michael Anthony, Gramercy Tavern; Heather Carlucci, PRINT; MaryCleaver, The Green Table & Cleaver Co.; David Colston, Brooklyn Winery;Elizabeth Falkner, Krescendo; Peter Hoffman, Back Forty & Back Forty West;Daniel Holzman, The Meatball Shop; Chris Santos, The Stanton Social; Zak Pelaccio, Fatty Crew; Bill Telepan, Telepan; and others to be named soon.

What: A fundraiser featuring freshly prepared dishes using locally sourcedingredients, paired with wines and beer from upstate New York.

Where: Brooklyn Winery , 213 North 8th Street, Williamsburg, Brooklyn

When: Thursday, July 26, 7-10 p.m., preceded by a VIP guided wine and beertasting at 6 p.m.
